The KLM Boeing 777 was en route to Brazil on Monday when it flipped over Spain. The device reportedly encountered a technical issue.

The 777-300ER, registered PH-BVG, departed Schiphol Airport at approximately 11:15 for Sao Paulo, Brazil. West of Madrid, the crew made a mayday call to 7700. The plane then turned around and withdrew the emergency notification a short time later. Four hours after departure, the Boeing landed again in Schiphol.

In the end, it turned out to be a technical problem. The plane remained on the ground for inspection. A KLM spokesman said New Hampshire News I know that passengers have disembarked normally and are being rebooked on the next flight to Brazil.

    The technical team

To prevent further technical problems, KLM may have to cancel its flights in the future. The airline has been struggling for some time to attract new technical staff. The airline wants to hire 450 new technicians this year. In the Dutch airline, the elderly in the profession, about thirty to forty percent, are retiring, while young recruits are minimal. The airline is currently no longer able to deploy its Airbus A330 aircraft optimally due to a lack of sufficient staff.

The Queen of Heaven is back!

For thirty years, the PH-BFG has flown around the world in KLM blue. She retired in 2019, but is back now.
