His name is Soto in the US Olympic qualifying rounds

Norwich City striker Sebastian Soto is competing in the Summer Olympics after being selected in the 48-man USA squad.

The young striker is one of 11 forwards to be selected as preparations continue for the games to be played in Tokyo later this year. The United States will begin its qualification campaign in March in the North and Central America and Caribbean Division.

Eight teams will compete for two places in the final qualifying matches held from March 18-30 in the Guadalajara region, Mexico.

The United States has failed to qualify for the last two Olympic tournaments in London and Rio and is hoping to participate in the games beginning in July. The CONCACAF group starts on March 18th with a match against Costa Rica.

Then they will face the Dominican Republic on March 21 and complete Group A on March 24 against host country Mexico. The first two teams in the group qualify, and the two semi-final winners qualify for the matches.

Clubs are not required to release their players in the qualifiers and squads of 20 players are expected to be announced on March 8th. Separate them.

CONCACAF’s qualifiers will compete in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, Ivory Coast, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea and Spain.
