After the weekend in Austin it’s time for the Grand Prix in Mexico. Since 2014, the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City has been another stop on the Formula 1 calendar, and Max Verstappen is the one who has managed to achieve the most victories on Mexican soil since the return of the race. Last weekend was a fast weekend, but in Mexico we are once again dealing with the traditional format.
The United States Grand Prix was once again Verstappen’s prey. The Dutchman did not go higher than sixth during qualifying, although the speed was certainly present in the RB19 car. It was a matter of track limitations, and the Austrian team also had difficulty with the limited practice time. Although the Dutchman had to start the catch-up race, he was able to win the main race on Sunday. Lewis Hamilton crossed the line in second place, but his car was disqualified. As a result, Lando Norris eventually became second in the race and Carlos Sainz gained fifteen points to finish third.
