Now Rockstar has made an announcement.

After years of waiting, video game fans will get their first impression of the upcoming game in the “Grand Theft Auto” series at the beginning of next December. A trailer will then be released, developer Rockstar announced on Wednesday. There is no information yet about the release date.
The previous version, “Grand Theft Auto V”, was released in 2013. Players are now increasingly impatient, but Rockstar only confirmed in 2022 that a new game was in the works. According to media reports and leaks, the game will be called “Grand Theft Auto VI” and its events will take place in a fictional version of the city of Miami. The previous edition sold 185 million copies within a decade. Shares of the rock star’s parent company, Take-Two, jumped a good ten percent after the trailer was announced.
