Samsung has started distributing Android 14 for the Galaxy S23 series. The update includes Samsung’s One UI 6.0 interface, which comes with many innovations and improvements.
In August, the manufacturer started the beta phase of the current Android version of the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra smartphones and completed it a few days ago. Delivery of the update with build number S9xxBXXU3BWJM has now begun. Android security patches are available starting October 1, 2023.
According to various user reports, beta testers are currently being given the new OS version first; Experience has shown that all other users follow after only a short time. The reason for limited recipients can be found in the small file size of 350MB, as beta testers can only exchange clips that are changed later.
One UI 6.0 with many changes
One UI 6.0 has many innovations, albeit small ones, in store for users. A new standard font has been introduced, quick panels have been revised, there are background images for different profiles, a simplified icon tab on the home screen and revisions to the camera and photo apps. At the same time, Desktop DeX mode received new functionality, however, it is used only on tablets. It is said that a total of 76 changes and innovations have been integrated into the new version.
