MoviePerfectly styled blonde hair, wall-to-wall smile, and a light pink transformable. In the first released image of the new movie “Barbie”, lead actress Margot Robbie (31) looks like two drops of water on the famous doll.
The world’s most famous doll gets her own movie: “Barbie”. Margot Robbie plays the main role in it. And the rest of the cast is also full of famous names, such as Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu and Will Ferrell. The print is directed by Greta Gerwig, who also goes by “Little Women” and “Lady Bird”.
She said last year that it was a challenge for Ruby to get into Barbie’s shoes: “The character brings up a lot of history and nostalgia, but also leaves room for a lot of exciting ways to start. When people hear ‘Barbie’ they think, ‘I already know what this movie is going to be like.'” But then when they hear Greta Gerwig writing and directing it, they think, “Oh, well, maybe I don’t know…”
The shooting of “Barbie” began earlier this year in London. By the way, the doll is just one of the many projects of the company Mattel that will be starred in a movie. Also about ‘Magic 8 ball’, ‘Hot Wheels’, ‘Masters of the Universe’, ‘Polly Pocket’, ‘Rock’ Em Sock ‘Em Robots’, ‘Chatty Cathy’ and ‘Betsy Wetsy’ are said to be films in the making.
Barbie is scheduled for release in the United States on July 21, 2023. It has not yet been announced when the print edition will be shown with us.
