If you are Dune And you want more, you’re in luck: Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Images confirmed on October 26 that there is indeed Dune: Part Two, and that it will be released in October 2023. That will take some time, but it’s good news.

Dune It only tackled the first half of Frank Herbert’s science fiction epic, with director Denis Villeneuve choosing to split the novel into two films early on. However, the second film has not been confirmed yet, and it was based on the success of the first film. Dune It grossed $40.1 million in its opening weekend in the United States after its premiere in theaters and on HBO Max, and has grossed over $220 million worldwide.

Confirm Dune: Part Two Great news for all lovers Dune. Herbert’s work was notoriously unfilterable: Alejandro Jodorowsky was unable to make his version of Dune While David Lynch’s 1984 film was a critical commercial disaster. Fortunately, Villeneuve’s version is a stunning and compelling film that avoids the pitfalls left by its predecessor. If this works again with Dune: Part Two, then he has accomplished the impossible: creating the ultimate movie adaptation of Dune. The good news is that the process is already halfway there.

    What can we expect?

Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) will continue his journey to become the messianic figure known as Kwisatz Haderach, and the Harkonnens will continue their attack on Fremen and on the natural resources of Arrakis.

We’ll also see more characters like Chani (Zendaya) and Stilgar (Javier Bardem). And while nothing has been confirmed yet, there is a good chance of meeting the Emperor and Princess Erolan Dune: Part Two. I personally have my fingers crossed that Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen will make her appearance, but we’ll have to wait until 2023 to find out.

    Dune Now in cinemas.
