Intel just announced its latest AI upscaling technology, XeSS 1.3, and there's already an initial comparison with Nvidia's brand-new DLSS 3.7 and AMD's somewhat older FSR 2.2 on YouTube, which is from the S2Games Bench Benchmark channel Implemented on Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070. Intel XeSS 1.3 makes a big leap.

When using FSR 2.2, there are noticeable ghosting when Alloy is turned on, and similar marks are left when looking at flying insects in video. Additionally, water looks very smooth with Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and Intel XeSS 1.3, but creates annoying shimmering effects with AMD FSR 2.2. In terms of image quality, AMD still needs to improve significantly to keep up with Nvidia and Intel. It remains to be seen whether the quality improvements in FSR 3.1 are enough.
