The gaming messenger, called Discord, which has always been used by millions of users, now has to worry about its data and, above all, its conversations. Operators of a questionable website are offering billions of messages from hacked Discord chats for sale.

A website, which has been around since October 2023, offers hacked Discord chats from active users, which can then be purchased and browsed at certain prices. To date, more than 14,000 servers, nearly 630 million user records and nearly four billion individual messages have been logged or archived.

    How does this work?

The answer is very simple: robots. The site uses bots that infiltrate Discord servers and private messages and then collect information – of course without prior consent from those affected. By doing so, hackers not only violate users' privacy but also violate the EU's General Data Protection Regulation in several aspects. However, it is not currently possible to delete or delete your private data from the collection.

Hackers scam people with fake help

However, the site doesn't seem to care about breaking the law. Although you can request the removal of your private information through your subreddit, this is nothing more than a bad joke. Because behind all of this is a video clip from the movie “Spider-Man” in which the newspaper publisher Cool J asks J. J. J. J. J. J. J. J. Jameson, “Are you serious?” Mocking users concerned about their privacy.
