    With speeds in some regions reaching or exceeding 1 Gbps, COSMOTE subscribers now have the opportunity to surf, thanks to COSMOTE 5G.

    But what is 5G? 5G is the next generation of mobile internet connectivity, offering ever faster speeds and more reliable connections.     Access to the COSMOTE 5G network is available to all COSMOTE subscribers, individuals and businessmen, without additional fees and regardless of the program (contract, card contract or prepayment). The only requirement is to have a certified 5G device in the COSMOTE network.     Investments for the future

    The OTE Group is investing heavily in innovative technologies and next-generation networks, leading the country into the Gigabit community. In the last decade alone, it has invested up to 5 billion euros in developing the latest infrastructure, while despite the difficult environment due to the epidemic, it continues to implement its investment plan of 2 billion euros over the four years, confirming to 5G and FTTH.

    First video call via COSMOTE 5G

In addition to the video call, tests of mobile Internet speeds were conducted, with COSMOTE 5G speeds exceeding 1 Gbps.
