The new backWERK location on Damrak in Amsterdam

Formula News – BackWERK has opened a new location in Damrak in Amsterdam. It is the 38th branch of the bakery formula in the Netherlands and the second branch in the capital.

Stadsgoed NV has allowed the site to be referenced. The store area is approximately 316 square meters divided on the ground floor and basement. The store opened its doors to the public last week. BackWERK is growing, and it’s in talks with several owners about opening new offices in various cities across the country. Advised by the owner by KroesePatermotte. BackWERK is assisted by Engelvast, the usual backWERK broker.

The franchise chain currently has more than 340 branches with locations in various European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Since fall 2017, backWERK has been part of Switzerland-listed Valora AG, and further growth is more focused than ever.
