Alleged layout schematics for an up to date iPad with a 10.8-inch screen have been shared by 91Mobiles.
The schematics reportedly display an iPad with a 10.8-inch show. This correlates with a prior report from supply-chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, which explained that Apple options to launch a new 10.8-inch iPad in the second half of 2020.
Though 91Mobiles statements that the schematics are for a reduced cost, eighth-technology iPad, it is also feasible that the device depicted is in fact an iPad Air 4.
Previously this week, pics purportedly showed a leaked handbook for the iPad Air 4, and the iPad from that leaked handbook appears to be similar to the product in these schematics. Ming Chi-Kuo’s report also did not specify if the 10.8-inch iPad product will be a new edition of the current 10.2-inch iPad or the 10.5-inch iPad Air, and it appears that leaks about both iPads may have been conflated.
The schematics advise that the unreleased iPad is to have dual speakers, four microphones, and a USB-C port. The rear of the machine reveals a solitary digital camera with an LED flash and a magnetic smart connector. The placement of this wise connector bolsters previous rumors that the Magic Keyboard accessory will be supported by new iPad types.
91Mobiles statements that this iPad will have Face ID, but that appears not likely presented rumors of the iPad Air 4 possessing a Contact ID sensor on the electric power button rather of Face ID.
The images point out that the device will seem equivalent to the iPad Professional, with thinner bezels and squared-off edges. A four stereo-speaker setup and twin cameras would be reserved for the iPad Pro.
