Netflix has launched a new feature called Milestone Movies: The Anniversary Collection. This collection celebrates films celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2024. Unfortunately, this feature is only available in the US.

Netflix has become the favorite place for many to watch movies and series. Thanks to a new feature the streaming giant unveiled on January 17, that's likely to remain the case, especially from a classic movie perspective. This new section, called Milestone Movies: The Anniversary Collection, is a curated collection of classic movies that movie fans can stream to their hearts' content. Unfortunately, it's only available in the US, so it will be difficult for Dutch fans to enjoy it.

1974 Collection: Classic Movies celebrates its 50th anniversary
Netflix has unveiled its 1974 Milestone Films Collection, which — you guessed it — includes films celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024. To check out this new section, simply head over to Netflix's 1974 Milestone Movies website and if you're signed in to your account in a web browser And you can watch it instantly.
Netflix confirmed in a press release that more previews of classic films will appear on the service throughout the year. The 1984 slate is scheduled to be released in April, the 1994 slate in July, and the beloved 2004 film series will be released in October. Netflix has declined to reveal which movies are part of these catalogs.
There are no notable films in the Netherlands
As mentioned earlier, it is only available to people living in the United States. This means that Dutch fans, or any non-US residents, cannot take advantage of this interesting new feature. The only way to watch it is through a VPN.
