Ben Dicke and Jossi Borg ensured a 2-0 half-time score, after which the Netherlands had to be patient until the final stage. Rene van Laarhoven made it 3-0 from a penalty kick in the 49th minute. Deke, Maren Finn and Luna Voki increased the score.
The Dutch national team had won its first seven matches in the professional league, before the match against Australia ended in a 3-3 draw last weekend. The Netherlands then lost the series on penalties for a bonus point by a score of 2-1.
The Netherlands will play against the United States again on Tuesday. Double matches with Germany and New Zealand also await us in June. At the beginning of next July, two matches are scheduled to be held against Olympic champions Belgium and the Netherlands.
National coach Paul van As's team ranks third in the standings with 25 points from nine matches. No. 8 America has 7 points from nine matches. Argentina ranks first with 29 points, but has played five more matches.
