Nagelsmann was Bayern Munich coach until last season. But the big German club put him aside early due to disappointing results. Nagelsmann previously played for Hoffenheim and Leipzig.

With the German national team, he brought in Sandro Wagner and Benjamin Gluck as assistants. And on October 14, the new trio, signed until next year’s European Championship, will be on the bench for the first time for the first leg in the United States.
