Manchester United fans want to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make five changes to his starting XI for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

The two clubs will take time out of their intense battle for Champions League qualification to go head-to-head for a place in next month’s final at Wembley.

United are the form side going into the match and haven’t lost in 19 games, but there has been a noticeable drop in performance levels over the last two matches.

That could probably be blamed on fatigue as Solskjaer has, understandably, largely stuck to the same side in the hectic fixture schedule but fans would like to see a few changes made against Chelsea.

While supporters would like Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire to keep their places, they want changes elsewhere in defence. Firstly they would like to see Eric Bailly come in for Victor Lindelof, who hasn’t been in the best form in recent matches, no doubt remembering how well the Ivorian played against Chelsea in February.

They would also like to see, if fully recovered from the nasty cut he suffered against Southampton, Brandon Williams come back into the side at left-back, despite Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s encouraging display in the victory over Crystal Palace.

In midfield supporters have called for Nemanja Matic to be reinstated to the starting XI after being rested on Thursday, with Scott McTominay making way, but want Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba to remain in the side.

The final change fans want to see is in attack, with youngster Mason Greenwood being rested in favour of Daniel James. If they get their way then the Welshman will join Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in attack.

Manchester United fans’ XI vs Chelsea: Romero; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Williams; Fernandes, Matic, Pogba; James, Martial, Rashford.
