Earlier this month, Eriksen was seen at a training session for his old Danish club Odense. Earlier this week, there were rumors of a termination of the contract with Inter Milan. On Friday, the club announced the termination of the contract with Eriksen by mutual consent.
This appears to be a first step towards resuming the professional career of Eriksen, who played in the Netherlands for Ajax from 2010 to 2013. In many countries, there are no rules prohibiting playing football with a pacemaker. Eriksen himself did not comment on this.
