COTA comes with a special stand on the pitch

Formula 1’s popularity in the United States has grown exponentially in recent years. The top men in the sport have jumped into the hype and next year there are three major American races on the calendar. Next year they will go to Austin, Miami and Las Vegas. In Austin they are already expecting a lot from the event this year.

The American Grand Prix in Austin has become a modern classic in recent years. The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is known to many fans, teams and drivers. So the organization has worked hard for the next edition to make it a bigger spectacle, and a new runway will be added.

Frankly, this week the circuit announced that it would be putting a new grandstand on the field. The new runway will be located just after corners 3, 4 and 5. From this runway, visitors can see eight turns of the circuit. “After years of ambition, what we had hoped for has become a reality,” Circuit President Bobby Epstein said in a press release. “It’s a fan-focused improvement.”
