Hence, star Kevin Durant’s return with the Nets was less illustrious. Durant returned after a month and a half of injuries and immediately grabbed the most points for his team: 31. Pam Adebayo was the Miami Heat’s top scorer with 30 points.
The confrontation in Los Angeles between the Lakers and Clippers ended with a big victory over the Clippers: 132-111. Reggie Jackson topped the Clippers with 36 points. This was the seventh time in a row that the Clippers beat the Lakers. With a 23-0 streak in the second half, the Clippers dominated the match. Lakers star LeBron James was his team’s top scorer with 26 points.
The Golden State Warriors, No. 2 in the Western Division, bowed to the Dallas Mavericks: 113-122. Luka Doncic was the teaser for the Warriors, scoring 41 points for the Mavericks.
