MotoGP rider Enea Bastianini booked his second MotoGP win of the season at the US Grand Prix. 24-year-old Italian overtakes Jack Miller on a Ducati at Austin Circuit with a few laps to go. The Australian eventually finished third after being overtaken by Spaniard Alex Rins on the last lap.

Jorge Martin took center stage on Saturday, but lost the lead to Miller at the start. It came in eighth. Bastianini, who has already won the opening race in Qatar this season, qualified for fifth. He came during the race and was the fastest in the closing stages.

Bastianini is also the leader of the MotoGP World Championship after four races. Italian with 61 points. Reigns is in second place with 56 points. Spaniard Alex Espargaro, who won the previous Argentina Trophy title and finished 11th, is third with 50 points.

Six-time world champion Marc Marquez returned at the US Grand Prix and finished sixth after catching up. The 29-year-old Spaniard missed the Argentine Grand Prix last weekend because he did not see well. Marquez had to skip the Indonesian Grand Prix over a week ago because he suffered a concussion in the fall during the warm-up. The former motocross racer has won seven of the eight races at Austin Circuit.
