Internationally, it was mainly about figure skating among women. Today, the decisive freestyle was in the program. All eyes were on Kamelya Valeeva, but the fifteen-year-old succumbed to the pressure. Her compatriot Anna Shcherbakova benefited and won the gold medal. Graabak sleds to gold
Once Jørgen Graabak took the lead for Norway alone, the competition in the combined northern relay gave up. They did not consider themselves to be able to tell the winner in the singles big jump division. Thus Germany, Japan and Austria looked at each other mainly and did not particularly want to do much business.
