The United States has announced that the 18th edition of the African Lion joint military exercise will be held “very soon” and will be held again in Morocco.
The US Army in Europe and Africa tweeted that African Lion 2022, the largest joint military exercise in Africa, “will take place very soon.”

According to the report, “the official planning event, led by the US Army’s Southern Europe and Africa Task Force and organized by the Royal Armed Forces, took place in Agadir, Morocco late last month.”

It further states that it will be a “multinational and multi-domain” military exercise. More than 1,000 American, Moroccan, European and African soldiers participate in military exercises every year.
